Prevention, not just repair

Dentistry that looks after the long term

A great dental relationship begins with understanding. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we take the time to assess your whole mouth, explain what we find in plain language, and plan care that keeps problems from arising in the first place.

What your assessment includes

Your New Patient Oral Health Assessment is a complete picture of your dental health — far more than a quick check-up. Every appointment covers the following.

FAQs

Here are some of the most commonly asked questions about Dental Implants. At Gold's Place Dental, we take a personalised approach to every treatment, ensuring care is tailored to your individual needs. If you have any questions or would like further information, our team will be happy to help.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your New Patient Oral Health Assessment is a comprehensive examination: we discuss your concerns and goals, then assess your teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues — including a full oral cancer screening, head and neck examination, and digital radiographs and clinical photography where appropriate. You leave with a clear, prioritised treatment plan.

How long does the assessment take?

We allow plenty of time so your first visit is never rushed. The appointment covers a full examination, any necessary imaging, and an unhurried discussion of what we’ve found and the options available to you.

Will i know the cost of any treatments?

Yes. After your assessment you’ll receive a written plan that sets out all your options, estimated costs and estimated timescales, prioritised sensibly. There’s no obligation to proceed, and nothing begins until you’ve understood and agreed to it.

Can I join a membership plan?

Once any essential treatment identified at your assessment is complete, you’re welcome to join one of our membership plans. They’re an excellent-value way to cover your routine preventative care and reduce the risk of future problems through regular maintenance.

Is there parking?

Yes — Parking is available directly outside the practice, making us easy to reach from across Torbay and South Devon.
