New Patients

We aim to provide you with a great dental experience, helping you achieve a confident, healthy smile you can be proud of. Our team is dedicated to going above and beyond for every patient.

From feeling a little anxious to experiencing dental phobia, we’re here to keep you relaxed and comfortable

Many people feel anxious about visiting the dentist. However, you do not need to worry: our team will support you from the moment you arrive.

It’s important to maintain your dental health by attending regular appointments. The best way to avoid complex (and costly) dental treatments is to prevent them with good dental hygiene and routine check-ups.

We will always aim to provide your dental care as gently as possible and keep you comfortable throughout your treatment.

A patient-focused private dental practice for you and your family.

Our team is often complimented on their gentle approach to dental care. One of the perks of being a small practice is that every patient receives the full attention of the professionals at Gold’s.

If you’re feeling at all anxious, just let us know — we’ll make sure your visit is as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

Our Team

Most importantly, we want you to have control over what treatments are best for you as an individual. We always start with a casual and informal chat to understand your specific needs and concerns. Following that, our comprehensive oral health assessment will help us identify any issues that may need addressing. We are then able to discuss bespoke treatment options and allow you to decide which treatment you feel is most appropriate for your circumstances.

We want you to have a wonderful experience at Gold’s Place Dental and are thrilled to welcome new members to our practice. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve our services, please do let us know so that we can continue to improve the care and services we provide.

Here are some of the most commonly asked questions by new patients. At Gold's Place Dental, we take a personalised approach to every treatment, ensuring care is tailored to your individual needs. If you have any questions or would like further information, our team will be happy to help.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your New Patient Oral Health Assessment is a comprehensive examination: we discuss your concerns and goals, then assess your teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues — including a full oral cancer screening, head and neck examination, and digital radiographs and clinical photography where appropriate. You leave with a clear, prioritised treatment plan.

How long does the assessment take?

We allow plenty of time so your first visit is never rushed. The appointment covers a full examination, any necessary imaging, and an unhurried discussion of what we’ve found and the options available to you.

Will I know the cost of any treatments?

Yes. After your assessment you’ll receive a written plan that sets out all your options, estimated costs and estimated timescales, prioritised sensibly. There’s no obligation to proceed, and nothing begins until you’ve understood and agreed to it.

Can I join a membership plan?

Once any essential treatment identified at your assessment is complete, you’re welcome to join one of our membership plans. They’re an excellent-value way to cover your routine preventative care and reduce the risk of future problems through regular maintenance.

Is there parking?

Station Road car park is close to the practice. The RingGo location code is 2997, with prices starting from £1.50 per hour. You can pay for parking online or using the Ringgo app.
